"I am writing this in reference to Sue Minkel and her exceptional abilities to guide students through nursing school through her tutoring sessions. Sue was my college professor during my second semester of nursing school and continued to tutor me for four years afterwards to strengthen my test taking abilities.
Sue has been extremely supportive with guiding me through nursing school by helping me breakdown my test results and create a plan for remediation. She has also sat with me to assist with key words and breaking down test questions that are specifically challenging; for example, select all that apply and higher-level questions. She helped direct me to grasp what the questions were asking, how to reword, and correctly answer those questions. Sue’s intuition facilitated me passing nursing school; if she saw I was struggling, she stepped in and assisted me with clear and honest direction. In my last weeks, and final semester, of nursing school, when I needed to obtain an 87% on a test and was panicking, Sue stepped in without hesitation and pushed me through with confidence and I acquired a 95% on my test. I am truly thankful for the time and effort Sue has put in to helping me achieve my goals of becoming a nurse."
